the CHARACTER;;
Name: Holly Bailey
Age: 18
Species: Witch
Celeb: Alyson Hannigan (with brown hair xD)
Personality: She was a calm, collected, studious person who liked to be around her friends- before it happened. Now she's quiet, solitary and doesn't want any friends because she blames herself for what happened to her past friends.
History: She grew up in a small town, close to San Francisco, with her mum and dad. She had one close friend, Austin, since she was in preschool up until high school and another friend (whom she only got to know for a short period of time due to everything happening), Rachel was her name.
Holly witnessed her parents untimely demise after coming home from school. She saw the door open and heard screaming. When she got inside she saw her mum being flayed alive with a ceremonial knife and her dad tied up in a chair being beaten with a baseball bat. They hadn't noticed her because she was so quiet but just kept flaying and beating. She also saw her friends die when she went to get help, Rachel died bravely saving her from an oncoming spike- which Holly thought she could have jumped out of the way from, and Austin get stabbed when she blasted one of the demons away from her and onto him.
Ever since she blamed herself and ran to the closest city, after heading home to get essentials like: the little food her house had left, water, a bag of herbs, crystals and magic books- as she is still learning, and a bag full of clothes and tooth brush/paste (she performed a spell to enlarge the amount the bag could hold first!). She headed out at midnight when the little amount of people left, where all asleep and so she could stick to the shadows until she got onto the main road.
Occupation: Unemployed, but had a weekend job at her local magic shop in Arlington and had a paper round.
Likes: School, Books, Practicing magic, Pizza, Libraries.
Dislikes: Bullies, Demons, Sacrificial Rituals, Being unable to control her magic at times.
Cannon?: No
Codeword: Under the Boardwalk
RP Sample:
Holly stood still, regaining breath. She'd been walking for over 48 hours. "I never knew San Fran was this far away" She muttered incredulously to herself. She had witnessed her parents and friends deaths two days ago, although to her it seemed like only a second ago, as she could still see their reactions as they were killed by the demons. Holly shuddered at the memories and begrudgingly continued her trek to San Francisco and far away from the horrid past at Arlington. She stopped herself again as she got an idea. She stood solitary, eyes closed and mouth slightly open to take some deep breaths, mentally reciting a spell. She finally opened her eyes after about 5 minutes feeling calmer, relaxed and more at peace. "You can't keep doing this to stop the memories from surfacing" a voice at the back of her mind said to her. She shook her head as if the voice was coming from someone in front of her, and eventually shrugged it off when it never spoke back. She continued up a steep hill until she saw a sign saying "Welcome to San Francisco. Enjoy your Stay". "Well, this is it" She inhaled a deep breath, hoisted her hold-all further up her shoulder and walked into the outskirts of the city.
