We're not gonna go species crazy (ie. elves, fairies, etc...) but we've got a few non human beings to choose from
Humans: - Humans are the mortals, the people that are on the whole oblivious to the supernatural, until now obviously, and they are born and then they are destined to die. However they are very adaptable and as history has shown us they are anything but boring. While they have no supernatural powers, with the odd exception, they have firearms and other cool weapons. As well as this their advancements in technology, society, and religion have made them a force to be reckoned with. They can also be cunning and clever, and collectively make up a large percentage of the ‘hunter’ population. However they are vulnerable in the sense that they are only mortal and can be killed by a veriaty of methods and are strongly suspetable to their emotions and feelings.
Witch: - Not the fake worshipping stuff we’re talking the real deal magic. They're able to pull off spells for most things but the reliability of magic is questionable. The more practised and learned a witch is the more they can control their magical power and ability and this is shown through skills such as controlling elements and levitation. In some rarer and more extreme cases, advanced witches can even use skills like telepathy with the click of a finger, however this is very rare. Using white magic is an innate, built in trait that only certain people can use. It is something that is usually passed through your family in some form, either too or without your knowledge and before it happened a lot of white witches belonged to covens that worked, mainly in unison, worldwide. Witches however are humans at core and the magic is really their only main line of defense.
Immortal: - Being immortal simply means you cannot die. Only if your literally burnt to ashes or beheaded. Stabbing, shooting, hanging, etc will not kill an immortal. However, it may knock them out for at least 5-10 minutes. Only once someone dies for the first time they learn that they are immortal. No one knows for sure what makes these certain people become immortal but many speculate that immortal’s have been selected for a specific time and reason, that being it?
Demon: - MORE TO COME SOON
Werewolf: - MORE TO COME SOON
Angel: - MORE TO COME SOON
Vampire: - Vampires, that have to drink blood to sustain their own lives, using their permanently fixed fangs, which develop shortly after being bitten. Their physical features are magnificent and they usually look god-like. They are also pale-skinned and cold to touch, their breaths are sweet and they display remarkable agility, strength, and healing power. However they do have weaknesses, religious or holy objects, used by the right person (mainly the clergy) tend to harm or frighten them. As well as this they can be bound with spells like demons and are killed by decapitation of the head, fire, long exposure to the sunlight (roughly 30 second) and a blessed stake through the heart. After any of the above they tend to disintegrate into a cloud of dust. Although they do not have to sleep in coffins, don't have an aversion to garlic, can be awake during the day, sleep, eat and drink normal food (even though it won't sustain them), go into churches and reawaken as a vampire on the third night of being ‘sired’. To be sired a human must have their blood drained up to the delicate state between life and death and at this point the human has to drink the vampire’s blood which contains the vampire ‘virus’.
Warlock: - Warlocks are a dark and evil form of witch. Their purposes are selfish and nearly always to their own self preservation and satisfaction. They tend not to feel any remorse and usually work alongside Demons and Vampires. They are born like witches as people but the magic’s that they use have corrupted them due to its evil sourcing. Dark magic (which can be used by anyone and anything!) can be just as effective as white magic although most of the time it comes at a cost, for example your sense of morality and emotion. They are weak because with white magic you can fight fire with fire, so to speak, and they are also usually mortal humans.
Specialists - – This would work on an application to application basis. It could include species such as Spirits, Loup Garoux Werewolves, but it is important that we are very tough when it comes to allowing these characters and you should ask either myself (Elliott) or Logan (Britt) before you fill out an application form
