Name:
Isolde "Izzy" Marie O'Connell
Age:
Her age is unknown, but her appearance looks to be in the mid-twenties. [Approx. 26]
Species:
Immortal
Celeb:
Sophia Myles
Personality:
Isolde is a quite hard to describe in regards to her personality. Because of her forgotten past, it makes it very hard for her to warm up and trust people. She does not take a liking to any individual, hardly calling anyone a lover or a friend, purely because she has that feeling she has been hurt in the past, even though she really does not know what it is. Usually she is quiet, even though she is fairly intelligent, and is often seen in solitary. Izzy thinks that being alone will be the only way to remember her past. However, if she does seem to speak at all, it is usually quiet, sarcastic, and sometimes arrogant. She hardly thinks of her as above anyone, but she does not make friends by her conversation habits. However, if she did seem to warm up to any individual, she is the most kind and caring person you will every meet. Isolde was once described as an angel, however, with that notion, she is very naive and has a hard time understanding things, especially things like emotions.
Occupation:
Well Isolde is not sure of her occupation at the moment, but at the moment, she had taken a fine liking to being an adventurer. Someone has been reading too many novels.
History:
Although Isolde has no idea of her past, this is how her history unfolds. Her history began in the late 1800's in the country of Ireland. Isolde was born into a merchant family, neither royalty nor serf. The family was quite expierenced in the blacksmith profession within the Brit-Irish community. The Father, along with her older brothers worked the blacksmith shop for most of the days, while their mother worked in a bakery across the street that was owned by a wealthy man. All was fine until the night that the storm came. The Mother, Andrea, was working late in the bakery to place the finishing touch on the wedding cake that was for one of the wealthy dukes in that area.
However, she did not expect that owner would arrive that night distraught and intoxicated. With no one to help her, Andrea was helplessly raped, and left beaten in the bakery.
While arriving home, Andrea covered up what happened by saying that she was mauled by an animal, a perfect excuse for the cuts and bruises. However, in the proceeding months, her lies became more extravangant, claiming that she was only growing bigger due to all the sweets she had been eating in the bakery. Yet, her lies could not cover up when Andrea gave birth a child, a female, Isolde. The father was furious that Andrea had covered something like this up, and came to the conclusion that she was having an affair with the owner of that bakery. So she was put up with a choice, to abandon the child, or be forced to leave the family, marked with adultery for the rest of her life. Leaving Izzy on the footsteps of the catholic church, that was the last time she ever saw her parents again.
Izzy grew up for the rest of her life living under the care of the catholic nuns of the church. She was educated by them, as she was taught in the field of taking care of horses. Isolde, however, as she grew up, it was evident that she was very petite and fragile as well. Yet her love was put into use as she began to work at the nearby stable that kept the duke's horses. She loved each and every one of them, thus why it threw her off when he walked into the stable.
His name was Alec, and he was the son of the duke. Isolde had never seen him before since Alec was brought up in Italy intead of the kingdom that they were in now. Yet there he was, in her stable requesting that she would prep one of her favorite horses. It wasn't took long that they grew to love one another, but that posed a problem. It was forbidden for the duke's son to be married to a commoner. The arranged marriage of the Alec to the Duke of Spain's daughter was three months away, and it pained it that they could never be together.
Brushing down Alec's horse, Isolde overheard a conversation just right out of the stable. It was a plot to murder Alec on his wedding day. Running to the wedding on that very day, Izzy arrived just in time to save him, but not without being killed herself. She sacrificed herself for the one that she had loved, and yet he went on to love another.
That was what she had oringinally thought at least. She had awoken in the casket, clawing away at the wood and dirt until she was free once again. She had made her way towards Alec, but found that he loved another. It hurt her to see him with another woman, and she fled.
Izzy spent most of her years back at the catholic church, tucked away as their greatest secret. Most spun tales and rumors about her origin of immortality. It was odd, she could not die, but did not possess superhuman strength or any other sort of power at all. Isolde was fragile, but could not die. The rumors went around that she was an angel whom had lost her way. Isolde merely brushed passed these ideas, thinking it was silly.
Years and years went by as her eyes witnessed in the shadows the events of history unfold. It wasn't until the year 2008 when her life actually meant something. Izzy thought of herself as a mistake, an anomaly on the earth, so she hid from the people, that was until that year. Isolde grew tired and bored of her life, and went out into the world. She saw the evil's that it held, and found her passion in helping others, yet always remained in the shadows, just watching.
As the earth began to change, the demons winning, Isolde misteriously lost her memory of all of her knowledge, and past. Izzy is still immortal, but with no past in her mind, she is human. Hiding away from the world, Isolde is beginning to embark on her greatest adventure of all time, to save humanity.
Anything Else:
Isolde has no memory of the past, up to the world being destroyed for some reason. Whether it is a memory block, who knows? [Possible to change in the future, she can't have a lost memory the entire time!] There is one thing to be sure, she has the mind of someone who has lived ages, but the personality of a five year old.

Isolde was not the one for fights. She attempted to stay neutral during this era, upon where everyone was on or over the edge, on verge of a rampage of killing and bloodshed. Yet, in her perspective, she would rather walk on earth trying avoid much of the problems as possible. The evil clashed with the good, while she stood by and observed. Fighting was not in her nature, for she was never brought up that way. Atleast she thought so. Not being able to remember one's past took a toll on a person. If only she knew about growing up in that catholic church. If only she knew that she had sacrificed herself for the love of another. Perhaps revenge would be an incentive to pick up the sword and battle. Yet it all seemed pointless. The battle was raging, and it would not end anytime soon, so what was the reason to fight in the first place? The others may have a reason, but she did not.
Never-the-less, for once in her life, taking a stance on peace, she had wished she had some sort of skill on combat, even it was purely for defense. Winding up in the bad part of town, well, it wasn't her initial idea. Every bone in her body screamed to leave quickly, but the underlying reason why she was in forsaken city forced her legs to be planted on the ground. Just step after step was all it took, as her eyes kept searching for the helpless victim. In it's eyes she would be a saviour, but with courage, there also comes a price.
Izzy already had an encounter with one vampire that evening. Evidently they did not take too kindly to someone that wasn't of their species. She was a pretty young thing that wandered into their terrority, and they were going to claim her. Atleast that was the mindset for the vampire that had attacked her. The edges of the fight, and how she escaped her a bit blurry. She barely grazed him with a bullet, but it was enough to run, run until her legs grew tired and she grew fatigued. Her lip was a bit swollen, the dried blood on it was quickly rubbed off to not attract any more guests. A wound or two was shown on her pale skin, but the bruises were more noticeable and elaborate. But it was no matter, as soon as she got rest, she could heal, but she had to find the lost one. She had to save it. Unaware of what lurked in the shadows, she continued on.
