"Hey! I'm back with food!" he shouted as he waltzed throught the door, slamming it shut behind him. He was in a particurly good mood today, he managed to find a restaurant that was still in business. Good ol' KFC. Suppose someone would be bold enough to stay open, there's still people who have to eat. And where there's hungry people, there's business. Good thing too, because Logan couldn't cook to save his life and he was sure Taylor didn't want to be in charge of food every day.
He hurried through the living room into the kitchen, setting his bucket of chicken, two boxes of fries, and a liter of Coca-cola on the table.
"Yo! It's getting cold!" he repeated again, louder this time so Taylor could hear him. He then stepped over to the cubboard to retrieve two glasses. He glanced around at the wreck otherwise known as kitchen. Stacks of books in the corner of the counter that Becky had been going through, trying to find answers and solutions...mainly to Logan's recent case of not being able to die.
He looked to the left and noticed the coffee machine, bags of ground coffee leaning against it. It was probably the most used device in the house in the past few weeks. Where would they be without sweet coffee goodness? That and pie.
But he stopped his mindless staring and headed back towards the table with two glasses in hand.

Taylor was currently sat in her room listening to some music with headphones on. Hence why she didn't hear her brother until he shouted a second time. She hadn't noticed until she took her headphones out that she was hungry, and she had heard Logan yell something was going cold, so she was hoping it was food. "Yo! Bro, I heard ya!" Taylor called, copying partly what he had said with a smile as she switched the music off and climbed off the bed.
She was kinda glad he had brought food in, she didn't know how much food they had left in the place to actually make something out of it. She opened her door, and made her way into the kitchen. "Mmm smells tasty!" She exclaimed with a smile. Glancing round at the kitchen as she entered, she noticed it was still in disarray, perhaps she should do something about it she thought as she wandered to the table where her brother was heading. "Was it busy out?" She asked him, sitting on the chair closest to her, she pulled the bucket towards her. "All this for me? You shouldn't have!" She joked with a grin as she pulled a piece of chicken out.

"About as busy as a Monday morning church" he replied to her question, pouring himself some Coke as he did so. It was a total deadzone out tonight. There were a few people at the KFC but other than that, the streets were pretty dead. Sundays always were anymore.
"No no, this would be mine" he started, pointing toward the hot fried food. "THAT is yours" he added, then pointing toward the can of beans on the counter. He did so with a grin on his face as he slipped open the fry box and stuffed one in his mouth. It felt so good to eat that kind of food again, there was only so much canned foods and cheese sandwhiches that he could take. He craved that greasy, unhealthy food.
He then licked his lips and reached for a drumstick.

"Mmm, sounds about right, I 'spose." Taylor shrugged lightly as she finished her mouthful, talking about how busy it was out there. She didn't like to go out when there wasn't so many people, she liked to be careful, although if something wound her up, like her brother being annoying and too over-protective, she liked to go out, sometimes to get back at him although that was rare. She hadn't done that in a long time. Although she couldn't wait to get some more money and get her own place, at least then Logan could have this place to himself more so than he did now.
"Haha nice try! You can't put hot chicken down in front of me and expect me not to eat it!" Taylor laughed, as she carried on eating her piece of chicken and pushed the bucket more towards Logan so he didn't have to reach so far. As she did so she grabbed a glass and then the bottle of coke after putting her chicken down, and poured herself a drink. "Maybe I should get a job at KFC." She joked. "I'd get free food!" Taylor laughed as she finished off her piece of chicken and grabbing some fries.

"More importantly, you could get me free food" he replied to her job comment, grabbing another couple of fries from the box. He knew that Taylor really did want a job and really did want to leave the nest. And he didn't want to admit it, but he didn't really want her to. He was a big baby deep down when it came to this kind of stuff. After the world went to hell, he didn't want the duo to ever split up. He didn't want her to be alone...and he didn't want to be alone.
Delighted that she had pushed the bucket toward him, he took another piece of chicken. Damn it was good. He hadn't eaten like this weeks.
"So, anything interesting happen today?" he asked, reaching for his glass of Coke-Cola.

"Always thinking about your stomach first." Taylor replied to Logan with a roll of her eyes and a smile. She grabbed another piece of chicken out the bucket and started eating it as she watched her brother thoughtfully for a few moments, before glancing round the kitchen again. She really should try and clean it a but more she thought to herself. It wasn't like her brother did a lot, but then again he was a typical guy.
She had finished her bit of chicken just as Logan asked her if anything interesting had happened. "No not really." She said shaking her head. "Its just been quiet, perhaps a little too quiet I 'spose, but at least you can hear things coming!" She joked with a smile and then went serious, and then put on a small smile. She knew how serious things could get sometimes, and it wasn't really a good thing to joke about, but thats the only thing she could do. Make light off something rather than live in fear. "Anything interesting happen with you I should know about?" She asked him raising a brow in a questioning manner.

((wow! almost 2 months later and I'm finally repling! lol sorry about that )) "Hey, Imma growing boy. I need my food" he joked, reaching for a few more fries as he did so. It was times like these that made him appreciate the more important things in life, like family...and food. Although he felt it best to keep that last one to himself so he didn't come across as shallow as he sounded.
He raised his brow at her inquiring smirk. Now what could be possibly be up to? He didn't exactly have a lovelife, not to mention not much of a social life. He had a best friend and a sister, that was it. And that scared him, because what would happen in another hundred years? Would he still be alive? Would he have to watch his family die right before his eyes as he never even aged? He didn't like to think about it.
"Now, you're just implying that I actually have some kind of life. Which I seem to remember you implying that I didn't just yesterday" he came back, trying to lightly press his younger sisters buttons.

((Thats okay, I was busy with a Uni project which I handed in last week, so I've not been on much either... )) "Yeah, yeah, I think you stopped growing a couple of years back." Taylor shot back at him with a laugh. She picked a few fries up, eating them before pushing the bucket closer to Logan's direction. "I'm done...You can have the rest." She said smiling at her brother. Even though part of her wanted to move out, she knew she would always miss her brother, just being there and his presence was enough to make her feel safe. Taylor frowned at her brother when Logan decided to remember for once what she had actually said to him the day before. She waved the last fry she had in her hand at him, almost absently forgetting it was there in her hand for a moment. "Just because you actually remember something I said yesterday doesn't mean I can't change my mind...." She replied, rolling her eyes. "Plus anything can happen in a day around here." She said softly, glancing out the apartment window for a moment before glancing back at her brother, and then realising the fry still in her hand. With a small laugh she, finished her last fry, and leant back on her chair.
